By purchasing any of our products, it is important to acknowledge and to understand and accept the following terms & conditions and the disclaimer. The disclaimer in particular, provides essential information about the purchase, use and care for any or all of our products. It is vital that any customer understands that all of our products are sold for adults, and most definitely not for use under any circumstances by children under the age of 13.
Disclaimer:
The safety of our products is a major priority for us and it is extremely important that all customers read the following safety information & guidelines before wearing our products to ensure that our jewellery is used & cared for appropriately.
We disclaim, so far as is legally possible, all liability for any damage, loss, injury, claims, costs, expenses, professional fees and any other liability resulting out of the improper use of any of our products, or the failure to properly supervise any baby or child in order to prevent them handling any of our products and damaging or harming themselves as a result.
None of our products are sold for or are intended to be worn or used by children under the age of 13, and they should be kept out of the reach of children under this age, or other individuals who may be likely to ingest the product(s) or it's/their component parts. Yvonne Henderson Jewellery's products can contain small component parts and these can present a choking hazard, especially to small children, if ingested.
None of Yvonne Henderson Jewellery's products should ever be placed in the mouth due to the risk of choking, and by purchasing any of our products, the customer agrees that the use of that product or those products is entirely at the customer's own risk and without any liability to Yvonne Henderson Jewellery.
Care for your Jewellery:
We recommend that you inspect your Yvonne Henderson jewellery before wearing it & regularly check any stone settings, chains, clasps, etc. for any defects to ensure they continue to be safe.
If any stones, chains or clasps, etc, break or become detached from the main item of jewellery they may become a choke hazard and should cease to be worn and must be stored safely before contacting us about the issue in hand.
They should ALWAYS be stored out of the reach of babies & children.
The customer acknowledges the risk of injury from any cause with his, her or their use and possession of any of our products rests with the customer.
Returns and Refunds:
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place it up until 14 days have passed from the day your goods were delivered to you. This does not apply to items that have been made especially for you, and that deviate from our standard designs, i.e. bespoke orders. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on these items, nether can we accept returns on items that have been personalised for you.
If your item develops a fault, please get in touch if your item is less than 12 months old, and we will arrange a replacement or a repair if this is due to a manufacturing fault on our part. We do not guarantee breakages through mis-use, for example, bent clasps, broken chains that have been snapped when caught, etc.
